5.1 The practice provides inspection levels, inspection methods and acceptance criteria requirements for the verification of part acceptability as part of production inspection.

5.2 These requirements provide the inspector’s criteria for evaluation of NDT results.

5.3 Implementation of this practice requires individual part NDT technique development, cognizant engineering concurrence, and applicable NDT Level 3 approval of the individual part work instruction or technique.
